How to run ComplexCore as an administrator in Windows Vista and Windows 7

The ComplexCore application needs adminstrative rights in order to successfully update itself and install all available exercises. In certain configurations of Windows Vista and Windows 7 with activated user account control (UAC) those rights are disabled and the update will fail. To circumvent this limitation, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Start button and select Computer. 

2. Use the tree-view on the left hand side to navigate to your ComplexCore application folder, usually located in C:\Program Files\ComplexCore  (or C:\Program Files (x86)\ComplexCore for 64-bit installations).

3. Right-click on ComplexCore in the list to the right and select Properties from the context menu. 

4. Go to the Compatibility tab in the Properties window and check Run this program as an administrator and confirm with OK.  

After you have completed these steps, the application will be able to update itself the next time you start it.
